Aim

Introducing students to the economic parameters for construction equipment, learning the techniques for construction equipment selecting optimization and forming machine fleet on the project.

Outcome

Competence of students to analyze economic parameters for construction machinery and to perform optimization of construction machinery selection process.

Contents

Construction machinery planning. Estimating the cost of construction machinery. The economic life of the machine , the average age of the machines in the fleet, the impact of age on the total cost of equipment. Strategic maintenance of construction machinery. Performance measurement of construction machinery. Estimating the cost of construction machines in time. Supply model of machinery. Optimization of construction machinery . Stochastic methods for assessing the productivity of construction machinery. Analysis of the machine working parameters according to the type of project ( horizontal and vertical type of project ) .

Exercises : Numerical problems are fully in accordance with program of lectures .
