Teaching consists of auditory lectures, labs and workshops. Independent work of students includes homework and independent project.
Introduction to the practical aspects of the analysis of structures with respect to serviceability related to vibration. Also, the goal of this course is to master both experimental and numerical methods of checking the state of usability design in relation to vibration - dynamic excitation of human walking, working machines installed in buildings and others.
Upon completion of the course students will be able to analyze the structural elements (floors, bridges, masts, etc.). Considering vibrations, and the implementation of structural and non-structural measures that may affect the structural response during dynamic excitation. Mastering and application of experimental methods in the analysis of structural vibrations and analysis of detected/recorded parameters which represent of vibration.
Recall of dynamic analysis of structures. Systems with one or more degrees of freedom - free and forced vibrations and basis of dynamic analysis of structures. Structural parameters relevant to response under dynamic excitation. Technical regulations and criteria for the evaluation of sensitivity to vibration. Fundamentals of numerical and experimental modal analysis of structures. Experimental dynamic analysis of structures: modal test and due to the dynamic real excitation. Analysis of the experimental results of dynamic testing and determining the characteristics and structural response. Correlation of experimental and numerical parameters of the structure and its response with respect to the dynamic excitation.
